Many of us grow up thinking that we are going to need orthodontics to straighten our teeth at some point. However, as children we don’t always get the chance.  We get through our teen years and before we know it we are progressing into adulthood and never had a chance to have the smile we had hoped for.  We reach our professional years and realize we would like to straighten our teeth.  Many of our patients request orthodontic treatment but prefer not to wear metal brackets on their teeth.  Invisalign is our solution for them.

Adults and working professional often want an alternative to traditional metal braces, especially if their teeth have mild misalignments.

Technology today has improved and we have more options than ever when it comes to choosing short-term orthodontic treatments that are discreet, comfortable, and won’t disrupt your life.

Invisalign straightens your teeth by using a series of clear, removable aligners.

Simply wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, then move on to the next in the series. You will love it because as time progresses you will see the gradual changes each time you move onto the next aligner. Very soon you will begin to see your teeth move toward the beautiful smile you always hoped for. Invisalign is virtually an invisible solution to correcting your smile. Treatment time will vary from patient to patient, but it averages about twelve months for adults. Adolescents can expect treatment to be similar to traditional orthodontics because they are still in the developing years of their life.

If you are interested in learning more about Invisalign Dr. Homonnay can talk with you about starting treatment and what to expect as you straighten your teeth. Clear Aligners are subtle and comfortable and you don’t have to worry about changing your lifestyle while your teeth are moving because you can simply remove the trays to brush, floss and eat.
